Day 10
We're having the most wonderfully
relaxing rest day. We slept like rocks, and were treated to a morning
of rain to give us a most perfect sleeping-in situation. The rain has
cooled things off enormously. Ontario had been experiencing a
terrible heat wave. It's been in the 90's everyday.
We spend the day doing our laundry,
writing, walking around the campground, and eating Nutty Buddys out
of the camp store's chest freezer. We visit the miniature pony and
the alpaca and the goats in the campground's petting zoo. Our colds
are lifting and our attitudes are improving. We just needed a day in
the trees, and a day to ourselves.

Some tidbits: a "loonie" is Canadian dollar, in coin form. A "toonie" is the $2 coin. And there are two seasons in Toronto: winter and construction.
